FC KANSAS CITY ANNOUNCES PRESEASON SCHEDULE

Team to Play Three Local Colleges Plus Chicago Red Stars

Prairie Village, Kansas (February 3, 2024) – FC Kansas City announced the schedule for its upcoming 2024 Preseason slate of matches. The team will open training camp on March 10^th in Kansas City and play four exhibition matches before starting the regular season in April.

Like last year, the Blues will play exhibition matches against some of the best colleges in the Midwest. The schedule opens up on March 18^th in Columbia, Missouri against the University of Missouri. The team will also play against Kansas University on March 28^th and Oklahoma State on April 5^th, locations for both matches will be announced at a later date.

For the first time, FC Kansas City will play another National Women’s Soccer League team in the exhibition season, the Chicago Red Stars. The two Midwest rivals will face off at the St. Louis Soccer Park in Fenton, Missouri on March 22^nd.

Game times for all four exhibition matches will be posted to FCKansasCity.com when they are set.

The NWSL regular season schedule is set to be announced this month. FC Kansas City will be playing twelve regular season home games at their new home, Verizon Wireless Field at Durwood Stadium on the UMKC campus.
