FC KANSAS CITY GOES PINK TO SUPPORT THE T.A.K.E. FOUNDATION
The players will wear pink jerseys against the Western New York Flash
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (May 9, 2024) – The reigning National Women’s Soccer League Champions, FC Kansas City, will “go pink” on Thursday, May 14 when they host the Western New York Flash at Swope Soccer Village to support The Ali Kemp Educational Foundation.
All game-worn jerseys will be auctioned off. The silent auction will last from 6:00 p.m. (when gates open) until the 75th minute of the match, and winners will be announced after the final whistle. Proceeds will be donated to the T.A.K.E. Foundation.

Auction Details
The silent auction table will be located on the north side of the stadium just inside the main gate. There is not a limit on the number of jerseys an individual can bid on. Starting bids for all jerseys is set at $50 and following bids must increase by $25.

T.A.K.E. Defense was established in 2024 by the Kemp family in partnership with Johnson County Park and Recreation District and in cooperation with Blue Valley Recreation Commission and Leawood Park and Recreation.
The Ali Kemp Education Foundation is a multifaceted organization offering different services all with honoring Ali Kemp’s spirit. The foundation’s mission is to educate young women on self-defense tactics and how to positively impact their community. T.A.K.E strives to increase safety awareness in young girls and women and to encourage volunteerism in our community.
Over fifty thousand girls and women ages 12 and older have been trained with free hands-on self-defense training. T.A.K.E. Defense carries its message and training across the United States each year to colleges and universities such as Kansas University, University of Missouri, Kansas State University, University of Miami, Vanderbilt University, Southern Methodist University, Texas Christian University, University of Wisconsin and more.
