Caroline Kastor Announces Retirement
KANSAS CITY (Mar. 9, 2023) – FC Kansas City forward Caroline Kastor has announced her retirement from professional soccer. The Wichita, KS native has been with the club since graduating from the University of Kansas in 2023.
Kastor said, “I am so proud of the women who have contributed to the growth of the game and it has been an absolute honor to have been among those women.”
Originally joining the FCKC roster in 2023, Kastor made her on-field debut with the team in 2023. She made eight appearances that season as the team won their second straight National Women’s Soccer League title. Last season she made 15 appearances, starting in three of them.

Replacing her and finding a player of her caliber will be something we are going to start to look for immediately. We want to wish Caroline all the best in her next stage in life.”
