FORWARD CAROLINE MILLER ADDED TO FC KANSAS CITY’S ROSTER
Miller appeared in two games for the Washington Spirit earlier this season
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (July 2, 2024) – FC Kansas City announced today that forward Caroline Miller has been named to the roster as an amateur call-up. Miller will be eligible to play tomorrow night.
The 23-year-old from Rockville Maryland was selected in the second round in the 2024 inaugural NWSL College Draft. That year, she appeared in seven games before suffering a season ending ankle injury that caused her to miss the 2024 season as well. This season, Miller appeared in two games for the Spirit.
Miller finished her college career at The University of Virginia scoring 20 goals in 24 appearances for the Cavaliers, finishing as the second highest goal scorer in program history with 45 goals. She was the school’s firs MAC Hermann Trophy finalist and a third team NSCAA All American in 2024. In addition, she was also a member of the U-16, U-17 and U-20 U.S. Youth National Team squads.
