FC Kansas City announces partnership with Overland Park Auto Group
KANSAS CITY (April 12, 2024) – FC Kansas City announced today that the team has agreed to a two-year partnership with Overland Park Mazda and Overland Park Fiat as its official automotive partner.
“We are excited to have Overland Park Mazda and Overland Park Fiat as the team’s official automotive partner,” Vice President of Business Operations Scott Levinson said. “We are looking forward to working with each dealership – both independently and as a group – throughout the upcoming season.”
As part of the partnership, Overland Park Auto Group will host FC Kansas City’s annual “Pink Game” in which players wear special pink jerseys that will be auctioned off after the match on May 7 at Swope Soccer Village. Proceeds from the auction will benefit The Ali Kemp Educational Foundation and the charity’s self-defense training for girls and women in the community. The Blues have held a “Pink Game” in each of their first three seasons.
“Overland Park Fiat and Overland Park Mazda are very excited to support the thriving soccer community here in Kansas City,” Owner of Overland Park Auto Group Doug Kinney said. “In such a great sports town, we definitely want to be as involved as possible! With brands such as Fiat and Mazda, they make sense for the soccer enthusiast!”
The team and the two dealerships will also partner on an exciting contest where one lucky contestant will have a chance to win a $35,000 Mazda CX-5 or Fiat 500X Lounge by kicking a soccer ball through a special target. The promotion will take place during halftime of all FC Kansas City regular season home games.
