2008 (Senior): Missy missed the entire first half of her senior season due to Mono. She returned to the field after missing nine games of competition. She led her to team to compete in the NCAA tournament and unfortunately fell to Stanford to make it into the sweet sixteen. She was named the team’s heart and soul at the end of the season.
2007 (Junior): Named to Academic All-Big 12 First Team … Started 20 of KU’s 21 matches … Missed first contest of her career at the Big 12 Soccer Championship against Oklahoma State (11/7) with an injury … It broke a streak of 59 consecutive matches played … Matched a career high with 110 minutes played in three contests: vs. Auburn (9/1), at Baylor (9/28) and at No. 6 Texas (10/21) … Tallied a season-high three shots against Missouri State (9/18).
2006 (Sophomore): Named All-Big 12 Second Team and Academic All-Big 12 Second Team … Started all 19 matches for KU and was third on the team with 1,634 minutes played … Season-high four shots against Furman (8/25) … Collected assists in back-to-back contests, at Missouri (10/15) and against Baylor (10/20) … Tallied at least one shot in seven of KU’s final eight matches.
2005 (Freshman): 2024 All-Big 12 Newcomer Team … Started all 20 matches of the season … Notched her third goal of the season at Texas Tech on Oct. 14 … Third on the team with 1,822 minutes played … Played every minute in 18 matches … Tallied the game-winning goal against UC Irvine just 7:06 into the match on Sept. 16 … Scored first collegiate goal 3:51 into the match at San Diego (9/9), the game-winner.
