TIME WARNER CABLE SPORTS CHANNEL TO BROADCAST FOUR FC KANSAS CITY GAMES

All four matches will also be streamed live on YouTube

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (July 15, 2024) – FC Kansas City and Time Warner Cable Sports Channel announced an agreement to televise the team’s next four home games at Swope Soccer Village. The game on Monday July 20 will be broadcast live as the Blues host the Houston Dash at 7:00 p.m. CT.

“We are very excited to have Time Warner Cable Sports Channel broadcast our next four games,” FC Kansas City Director of Soccer Operations Huw Williams said. “Their first-class production capabilities and reputation combined with the power of their coverage will only enhance our efforts to expose our team to the Greater Kansas City community.”

In addition, the matches on Saturday August 8, Wednesday August 12 and Saturday August 22, against the Western NY Flash, Portland Thorns FC and Boston Breakers respectively, will be taped and aired the following day.

Two weeks ago, the 2024 FIFA Women’s World Cup final between USA and Japan recorded a domestic television audience of 26.7 million people with Kansas City as the top rated local market. With this agreement, fans who cannot attend the games at Swope Soccer Village will have the opportunity to watch FC Kansas City’s four FIFA World Cup Champions: Amy Rodriguez, Lauren Holiday, Heather O’Reilly and Becky Sauerbrunn take on National Team teammates Sydney Leroux, Whitney Engen, Alex Morgan, Tobin Heath and Alyssa Naeher.
