KANSAS CITY (May 1, 2024) – FC Kansas City hits the road for a National Women’s Soccer League championship rematch this Sunday at 6 p.m. CT in Seattle’s Memorial Stadium.

The Blues defeated Seattle Reign FC 1-0 last year to win their second consecutive league title.

The defending champions are still looking for their first victory of the season after taking a loss and a draw in their first two matches. Their opponent is 1-1-0 with the reigning player of the week in midfielder Kim Little.

The Blues will be playing without starting forward Shea Groom, who received a red card last match. It was first ejection of her career and first in the league this year. She also scored the Blues’ lone goal in the 1-1 draw with Portland Thorns FC.

The defending champions are 0-1-1 to start the season.

The game will be streamed on the NWSL YouTube channel at this link: www.youtube.com/watch?v=kTsJKQPx-R8
